RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Communications Specialist in Doral, FL.

Summary:
The Internal Communications Specialist plays a pivotal role in shaping and maintaining effective communication within our department. This professional ensures that information flows seamlessly across teams, fostering engagement, alignment, and a positive organizational culture. Job Duties:
* Content Creation: Develop and edit internal communication materials, including newsletters, emails, memos, presentations, and announcements
* Channel Management: Manage and measure a portfolio of internal communication channels (such as intranet sites, teams, and yammer) to disseminate information throughout the department
* Strategy Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and implement an internal communications strategy; This includes defining tactics, activities, and materials that align with the organization's culture, policies, and program aims
* Event Support: Assist in planning and executing global leadership or departmental all-hands meetings, handling logistics and executive presentations
* Creative Ideation: Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute to the conceptualization of internal communication materials
* Department Branding: Work closely with senior management to help build and launch a departmental brand in alignment with our corporate mission and guiding principals
* Community Engagement: Develop an internal communications and engagement strategy for our global community, ensuring it aligns with business priorities
* Calendar Management: Coordinate and publish regular company-wide newsletters, interviews, and newsflashes in an innovative and compelling manner
* Manager Enablement: Ensure that managers are equipped to deliver effective messaging and communications to their team members

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's or University degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, English, Public Relations, Education, Business, Human Resources, or Corporate Communications
* Candidates with equivalent work experience will also be considered

Desired skills for an Internal Communications Specialist include:
* Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
* Proficiency in standard productivity applications (Office 365 suite, SharePoint, Viva Engage
* Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
* Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment
* Experience in content creation, channel management, and event support

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
