Tech Cafe Technician

Our client is currently seeking a qualified Tech Cafe Technician to join their team onsite in New York, NY. This is a Contract position slated to go 2+ years.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist users with PCs, vending machines, and overall IT support items while stationed at the cafe
• Provide mobile device support (iPhone and Android)
• Troubleshoot tablets and phones
• Handle support cases from start to finish
• This role requires a high degree of customer focus and contact that ultimately generates high customer satisfaction

Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum 3+ years of proficient walk-up experience and technical skills with PCs, devices, and other equipment
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
• High School Diploma or GED required
• A+ Certification is a plus
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the IT support field
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with Windows OS, Microsoft Office, Internet browsers and Email clients

Wage Range :
The hourly rate for this position is between $24.00 - $36.30 per hour. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
