We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical IT PMO Analyst to join our Project Management Office (PMO). In this role, you will support IT leadership in driving strategic initiatives through effective portfolio management, budget tracking, and resource planning. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of project and portfolio governance, financial tracking, and workforce capacity planning within an IT environment.




Key Responsibilities:




  • Portfolio Management:




    • Maintain and monitor the IT project portfolio, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and business priorities.




    • Facilitate portfolio reviews and status reporting with stakeholders and senior leadership.




    • Track project performance metrics (KPIs) and support continuous improvement of project delivery processes.






  • Budget Tracking & Financial Management:




    • Assist in the development and maintenance of IT budgets across projects and programs.




    • Track and report on actuals vs. forecasts, highlighting variances and trends.




    • Collaborate with Finance and Procurement teams to ensure accurate budgeting, invoicing, and financial reconciliation.






  • Resource Planning:




    • Develop and maintain resource capacity plans to ensure optimal allocation across IT initiatives.




    • Work with project managers and team leads to identify and resolve resource constraints or conflicts.




    • Track availability, utilization, and demand of resources across the IT portfolio.






  • Governance & Reporting:




    • Support PMO processes, including intake, prioritization, governance frameworks, and compliance.




    • Prepare and distribute regular dashboards and executive summaries on portfolio health, financials, and resourcing.




    • Maintain documentation and data integrity within PMO tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Clarity, MS Project, Planview, or similar).








Qualifications:




  • 3+ years of experience in a PMO Analyst or similar role within an IT environment.




  • Solid understanding of project portfolio management, budgeting processes, and resource planning methodologies.




  • Proficiency with project management and portfolio tools (e.g., MS Project, Planview, Smartsheet, Clarity).




  • Strong Excel skills and experience with financial modeling or tracking tools.




  • Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.




  • PMP, CAPM, or related certification a plus.
