Overview
The ServiceNow Developer will oversee the configuration of our ServiceNow platform to ensure it meets the needs of our users. We reach a broad range of end users, so we need someone who can develop solutions that make navigation easy to use.
In this ServiceNow Developer, you will work in an Agile Software Development environment will deliver products and services defined throughout the life cycle of the project and resolve post-production deficiencies. You will also, manage and participate in designing and developing ServiceNow Workflow, Business Rules, Dashboards, Script Includes, Notifications, Integration, Content Management System (CMS), and potentially ITSM Modules, including Incident Events, Problem Management, Change Management, Knowledge Management Database / Known Error Database (KMDB / KEDB), Request Management, Service Catalog, Asset Management, Configuration Management Database (CMDB), Human Resources Service Management (HRSM), and other ServiceNow modules, as required.
This position performs all duties and responsibilities in accordance with the Mission, Vision, and Core Values of Cayuse.

Pay Range
USD $120,000.00 - USD $150,000.00 /Yr.

Responsibilities
- Manage the ServiceNow solution design, development, testing, and go-live support
- Transition legacy platforms to ServiceNow
- Understand the business context and how to translate business and functional requirements into a sustainable ServiceNow implementation
- Work with project resources to define sustainment governance and processes
- Provide insight and expertise into the ServiceNow platform capabilities and roadmap
- Work with technical subject-matter experts (SMEs) to identify and refine data requirements
- Work closely with business analysts to convert requirements into design and migration steps
- Work with customer SMEs and senior leadership to ensure systems requirements are met
- Provide customer demonstrations and presentations (virtual or in-person) of custom-built ServiceNow applications
- Communicate with technical and non-technical customers by answering questions related to ServiceNow Platform
- Update and modify scripts, when necessary
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, computer information systems, or a similar field
- 2+ years of working with ServiceNow
- 1+ Years of experience as a Business Analyst / Architect for development and implementation projects
- 1+ Years of experience performing ServiceNow analysis, architecture, and application development or a similar responsibility
- 1+ Years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow components, such as Change Management, Service Catalog, Incident Management, Problem Management, Asset Management, Release Management, CMDB, Knowledge Management, Self-Service Portal, etc.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience participating in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including analysis, design, coding, testing, and promotion into production
- Excellent knowledge of ServiceNow best practices and ongoing knowledge of the latest ServiceNow features
- Knowledge of Web 2.0 technologies, such as Java scripting, XML, HTML, Ajax, CSS, JSON, jQuery, AngularJS, etc.
- Experience with building custom applications in ServiceNow by defining data tables and user interface based on business logic
- Experience in customer application development and integration on ServiceNow platform
- Intermediate+ level experience in CMS, Service Catalog, Service Portal, and widget customization
- Familiarity with ServiceNow portal
- Understanding of Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Completion of ServiceNow Fundamentals course and certified as a ServiceNow
- Completion of ServiceNow Application Development Fundamentals course
- Completion of Scripting in ServiceNow Fundamentals course
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist
- Top Secret Security Clearance.
- Must be able to pass a background check. May require additional background checks as required by projects and/or clients at any time during employment.
- Must possess problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written
- Ability to respond effectively to customers with a sense of urgency.
- Proficient in Microsoft and Adobe toolsets, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Acrobat, etc.
- Highly motivated with the ability to handle and manage multiple tasks at any one time.
- Ability to forge new relationships, individual and teaming in nature.
- Must be a Self-starter, that can work independently and as part of a team.

Working Conditions
- Professional office environment.
- Must be able to work on-site in Rosslyn, VA.
