SAPS4/Hana Product Costing Lead

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced SAP S/4HANA Product Costing Lead to support implementation and optimization of product costing processes in a manufacturing plant environment. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in S/4HANA Controlling (CO) and Finance (FI), with proven experience in standard costing, actual costing, and cost component split within complex manufacturing setups.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of Product Costing solutions in SAP S/4HANA.
Implement costing solutions for manufacturing plants, covering material cost estimates, overhead calculation, WIP valuation, and variance analysis.
Collaborate with Finance, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams to gather requirements and align costing processes with business needs.
Configure and support cost object controlling (CO-PC, CO-PA) including production orders, process orders, and product cost collectors.
Ensure integration with MM, PP, SD, and FI modules for seamless end-to-end costing flows.
Perform testing (unit, integration, UAT) and guide data migration for costing objects.
Act as a trusted advisor to the client on costing best practices, reporting, and compliance.
Lead workshops, provide knowledge transfer, and mentor project team members.

Required Skills & Experience

10+ years of SAP CO experience, with at least 2 3 full cycle implementations in S/4HANA.
Deep expertise in Product Costing (CO-PC) including standard costing, actual costing, material ledger, and variance analysis.
Strong knowledge of cost estimates, cost component structures, activity-based costing, and overhead calculation.
Experience in manufacturing industry processes, preferably in discrete and process manufacturing plants.
Proven ability to design solutions integrated with MM, PP, FI, and SD.
Hands-on experience with Material Ledger in S/4HANA.
Excellent communication, leadership, and client-facing skills.
