Duration: 11+ Months

Location: MN-Minneapolis, Hybrid 3-4 days onsite

Overview: Every Turnberry consultant belongs to a practice, an internal group of consultants and leaders with shared experience and expertise. Each of these practices aligns to one of the core services Turnberry offers to clients. As a BA/PO - Data Governance, you will join Turnberry's Business Agility practice. Turnberry's Business Agility practice provides ways-of-working assessments with supporting improvement recommendations, Product Management and Agile Delivery education opportunities, team and enterprise-level Product and Agile coaching, and strategic staffing for each of the skills required to drive Agile and/or Project to Product transformation journeys.

Responsibilities:

Identify upcoming work and align it with organizational goals

Communicate the vision and strategy for Data Governance and Data Quality within the project

Create, prioritize, and maintain the backlog for Data Governance and Data Quality tasks, ensuring items are well-defined, actionable, and aligned with project objectives

Develop and refine user stories with clear requirements and acceptance criteria to guide Data Governance and development teams in executing project tasks

Act as liaison between stakeholders and the development team, manage stakeholder relationships to ensure project requirements are clearly understood and met

Facilitate collaboration with other Product Owners, Business Analysts, and cross functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle

Guide cross-functional teams through the entire lifecycle of change-from uncovering business needs and documenting requirements to validating solutions

Facilitate engaging sessions with stakeholders, craft clear and actionable user stories, and lead user acceptance testing to ensure every solution delivers real value

Monitor progress and ensure timely delivery of features and improvements

Qualifications:

2-3 years Business Analyst experience (preferred: 4-5 years)

In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry

Experience with external vendors and agile frameworks (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban)

Strong analytical, project management, and leadership abilities

Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills

Business Analyst certification (CBAP, BABOK) a plus

Preferred Qualifications:

3-5 years of experience in insurance/financial services

Strong facilitation and leadership skills

Communication across technical and business teams; stakeholder management

Problem-solving, critical thinking, and adaptability

Meeting and workshop facilitation, negotiation, and conflict resolution

Presentation skills, time management, and prioritization

The salary range for this role is $90,000 to $130,000 or the hourly equivalent.
