Team/Role Overview

The role is part of the Testing Deployment & Environment Management horizontal service of offerings for the Strategic Ledger Transformation program. This is a critical role in coordinating management of change across the various environments utilized by the program and ensuring optimal availability of the lanes.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading release management activities to plan and deploy changes for the Oracle Cloud SaaS application and various internal applications into the various environments used by the program.
  • Working with internal stakeholders and vendor partners to manage migration of change through various environments - lower lanes and production deployment.
  • Coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders to create deployment project plans and WBS (Work Breakdown Structure) for release activities such as Dress Rehearsal, Cutover etc.
  • Creating a communication plan to inform and update stakeholders on release and environment management activities and scheduled downtimes.
  • Adhering to enterprise standards and policies on release and change management.
  • Understanding and implementing releases during the agreed-upon 'green-zones' or maintenance windows.
  • Maintain artifacts required for various tollgates required by program governance.

What we'll need from you
  • 10-15 years experience in a related technology role and subject matter expertise in Release Management
  • Expertise in managing large-scale technology releases and complex environment landscape. Demonstrated ability to build intricate WBS and deployment plans.
  • Experience with managing releases for Cloud transformation programs on platforms such as Oracle, Microsoft or Amazon.
  • Expertise in Software Lifecycle Management, Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
  • Demonstrated background in technology development and/or testing.
  • Experience with tools such as JIRA, Jenkins, TOSCA, Confluence, Zephyr and MS Project.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills and experience in working with senior leaders. Expertise in managing multiple priorities and conflict management.
  • Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially Master's degree.
  • Experience with project management methodologies. PMP certification is a plus.

  • Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially Masters degree
