Job Title: Automation Engineer Playwright & AI
Location: Tampa, FL
Employment Type: W2 only (No C2C / No 1099)
Job Description:
We are seeking an Automation Engineer with expertise in Playwright and AI-driven testing solutions to join our QA team in Tampa, FL. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks while leveraging AI tools for enhancing test coverage, defect detection, and reporting.
Responsibilities:
Design and implement automation scripts using Playwright (TypeScript/JavaScript).
Integrate AI-driven testing tools for predictive analysis, visual validation, and anomaly detection.
Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA teams to ensure high-quality releases.
Build and maintain scalable automation frameworks for UI, API, and end-to-end testing.
Conduct accessibility and cross-browser testing to ensure compliance and performance.
Participate in Agile ceremonies (Scrum, Sprint Planning, Retrospectives).
Debug, analyze, and report automation test failures with root cause analysis.
Required Skills:
5+ years of QA Automation experience.
2+ years of hands-on expertise in Playwright (TypeScript/JavaScript).
Strong experience with AI/ML-based testing tools (e.g., Testim, Mabl, Applitools AI, or custom AI frameworks).
Experience in API automation (REST Assured, Postman, or similar).
Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform).
Strong debugging, scripting, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred:
Exposure to Python AI/ML libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, OpenAI APIs).
Experience in Accessibility Testing (WCAG, Axe, Lighthouse).
Education:
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
