Join the Surface products development team dedicated to ensuring firmware and software stability across cutting-edge Intel-based devices. You'll play a critical role in advancing the next generation of Surface laptops and Surface Pro devices by maintaining seamless hardware-software integration and delivering high-quality user experiences.

salary: $44.71 - 54.71 per hour

work hours: 8am to 5pm

responsibilities:

Conduct rigorous, thorough testing of weekly software builds for functionality and stability.


Actively identify, analyze, and perform in-depth debugging and issue resolution during development.


Implement and customize system software, including the preparation of detailed specifications and test plans.


Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to validate performance and optimize overall system integration.




qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.


0-2 years of experience with a solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software design.


Proficiency in Software Programming (C and embedded C).


Experience with Windows Driver Debugging and problem diagnosis/resolution.


Experience with CI/CD Integration Processes for build automation.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS


Experience with embedded systems and test environment creation.


Familiarity with large systems software design and development.


Prior experience performing troubleshooting and unit testing with new or legacy production systems.
