Great Basin Staffing LLC is seeking a full-time BIM Operator for an immediate opening with a leading electrical contractor in Salt Lake City, UT. This is a long-term opportunity for a motivated candidate with a passion for construction technology and digital modeling to join a growing VDC/Preconstruction team.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop BIM models for electrical systems, including telecom, fire alarm, and security as needed
Implement and follow project BIM Execution Plans, including LOD and client standards
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, foremen, and general contractors to resolve design issues and support constructability
Generate accurate shop drawings, plan sets, and schedules
Assist in developing and maintaining company BIM standards
Attend project meetings and provide technical input as required
Support project delivery across multiple phases and teams

Required Qualifications:

Working knowledge of Revit, Navisworks, or Revizto
Understanding of electrical system design, with the ability to read single-line diagrams and plan sets
Experience working with cloud-based model coordination
Strong communication, organizational, and critical-thinking skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
Associate degree in drafting/design or Autodesk Certification preferred
2+ years of electrical BIM modeling experience (MEP experience strongly preferred)

Compensation & Benefits:

Pay Range: $75,000 $85,000 annually, based on experience
Schedule: Full-time, Monday Friday (early out on Fridays)
