Job Description

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is investing in automation for its global Dev/Test labs to enable rapid and scalable infrastructure testing. We are seeking a Senior Member of Technical Staff to help build core services and tools that power OCI's automated test labs.

As an SMTS, you'll be a key contributor in designing and implementing systems that automate hardware test setup, execute verification workflows, and surface operational insights. You'll work closely with other engineers and stakeholders to translate testing needs into scalable, reusable software systems.

You'll be expected to take ownership of components, contribute to platform improvements, and ensure systems meet performance and reliability goals. This is a great opportunity for someone excited about infrastructure software and automation challenges.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with exposure to infrastructure, test automation, or platform systems.
  • Solid coding skills in Python, Go, or Java.
  • Experience building services or automation tools related to hardware provisioning, configuration, or testing.
  • Familiarity with DevOps workflows, CI/CD systems, and telemetry/monitoring tools.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a cross-functional team and contribute to design and code quality.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills, and desire to learn and grow in a systems-focused environment.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $79,800 to $178,100 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
