Position: IAM Analyst- Database Access 

Location: Minneapolis MN(Hybrid)

Duration: 12+ Months 

 

Position Overview

IAM Analyst: The IAM is a critical role that requires a highly skilled and experienced individual with a deep understanding of IAM concepts, technologies, and best practices.  

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the IAM architecture, including identifying IAM requirements, designing solutions, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, security best practices, and industry standards
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors to understand IAM requirements and develop solutions that meet business needs
  • Design and implement IAM solutions, including identity and access governance, authentication, authorization, federation, and privilege management
  • Develop and maintain IAM policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines
  • Provide technical guidance and support to IT teams and business stakeholders on IAM-related issues and initiatives
  • Stay abreast of the latest industry trends, emerging threats, and new technologies in the IAM space, and incorporate these into the IAM architecture as appropriate
  • Develop and maintain metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of the IAM solutions and report progress to senior management
  • Lead and mentor junior IAM team members

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience in designing and implementing IAM solutions in large, complex organizations
  • Strong understanding of IAM concepts, principles, and technologies, including identity and access governance, authentication, authorization, federation, and privilege management
  • Experience with IAM tools and platforms, such as Active Directory, SailPoint, Oracle Identity Manager, Saviyant
  • Strong knowledge of security principles and best practices, including risk assessment, threat modelling, and vulnerability management
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
  • CISSP, CISM, or other relevant industry certifications preferred
