Job Details

Our client, a large financial services organization, is seeking an Anaplan Model Builder / Developer for a 1-year hybrid contract position, requiring on-site presence three days per week. You can onboard as our W2 employee or work as an independent contractor.
In this role, you will design, develop, and enhance Anaplan models that support incentive compensation management, performance reporting, analytics, planning, and budgeting. You ll collaborate with business and technical teams to deliver scalable, integrated Anaplan solutions that drive automation and improve business performance.
Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective Anaplan models and dashboards.
  • Design, build, and optimize Anaplan applications to support incentive compensation and revenue management processes.
  • Enhance existing models and ensure new solutions are designed for scalability and seamless system integration.
  • Maintain and continuously improve current Anaplan models to increase automation, streamline data integration, and enhance the user experience.
  • Test, troubleshoot, and debug models to ensure accuracy and performance.
  • Provide technical support and assist end-users with Anaplan-related issues.
  • Stay informed on new Anaplan features and leverage them to improve functionality and business outcomes.
  • Work cross-functionally with Finance, IT, and Data teams to align Anaplan with enterprise systems and processes.
  • Document model architecture, configurations, and development processes for sustainability and knowledge transfer.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience working with the Anaplan platform, including at least 3 full-cycle implementations focused on incentive compensation or revenue models.
  • Proven experience in Anaplan model building and performance optimization.
  • Strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management processes.
  • Ability to translate complex business requirements into effective technical solutions.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills with experience working across finance and technology teams.
  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving capability.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Self-starter who works well both independently and as part of a team.
  • Passion for improving user experience and streamlining processes.
  • Anaplan certification preferred but not required.
