Job Description:
Pay Range: $147000hr - $147000hr
  • The Technology Architect, Principal is responsible for defining and aligning Digital Workplace technology strategies with enterprise goals and key stakeholders.
  • This role drives a multi-year roadmap of scalable, secure, and user-centric solutions while providing architectural leadership across the Digital Workplace ecosystem.
  • The position partners closely with Enterprise Architects, engineering teams, and business leaders to guide solution design, governance, and execution while continuously improving the digital employee experience.
Responsibilities:
  • Define and align Digital Workplace technology strategies with enterprise goals and stakeholders to enable scalable multi-year roadmaps.
  • Develop and maintain architectural artifacts including current and future state models, standards, and reference architectures.
  • Collaborate on Digital Workplace portfolio planning and budgeting to align with strategic roadmaps and annual business planning.
  • Create, maintain, and govern Technology Standards to ensure compliance with architectural governance.
  • Monitor industry trends and introduce innovative ideas to enhance the digital employee experience.
  • Partner with Enterprise Architects and Solution Engineers to guide solution design from concept through implementation.
  • Review solution designs and provide technical leadership to business and IT delivery teams.
  • Lead Digital Workplace change initiatives from business case development through execution.
  • Solve complex challenges across the Digital Workplace stack to ensure productivity, reliability, and security.
  • Proactively identify technology solutions through collaboration with architects, subject matter experts, business partners, and vendors.
  • Provide expert consulting across Digital Workplace architecture, usage, and optimization.
  • Collaborate on roadmap planning while managing dependencies, conflicts, and customer feedback.
  • Present architectural strategies and solutions to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Participate in architectural governance forums including Communities of Practice and Architecture Review Boards.
  • Produce clear documentation and communicate complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Manage Microsoft Enterprise Agreement contracts and associated services
  • Provide strategic direction and mentorship to Digital Workplace technical teams.
Requirement/Must Have:
  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
  • Ten or more years of experience in Information Technology architecture.
  • Strong understanding of Digital Workplace strategy and enterprise architecture principles.
Should Have:
  • Experience translating business needs into scalable, secure, and user-centric architectures.
  • Experience in long-term Digital Workplace portfolio planning.
  • Ability to design integrated solutions across identity, security, collaboration, and support ecosystems.
  • Strong understanding of dependencies across networking, security, cloud infrastructure, and end-user experience.
  • Experience leading technical governance, standards development, and vendor evaluations.
  • Ability to measure success and communicate value through quantifiable outcomes.
Skills:
  • Microsoft 365, Citrix, Azure Virtual Desktop, Intune, SCCM.
  • Endpoint monitoring, application packaging, and device lifecycle management
  • Zero-touch deployment across Windows, macOS, and iOS platforms.
  • Power Platform, scripting, and AI-driven automation.
  • Knowledge of Zero Trust architecture, Copilot, and AI-enabled IT support
  • Lean and Agile methodologies.
  • Strong documentation, presentation, and stakeholder communication skills
Qualification And Education:
  • Bachelor s degree required.
  • Master s degree in business administration, engineering, or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Relevant experience in the utility industry preferred.
