Job Title: Senior Program Manager Enterprise Software Implementation (Hybrid)
Location: Phoenix , AZ
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (primarily remote with periodic on-site meetings)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Program Manager with deep experience in Agile/Scrum environments to lead a large-scale enterprise software implementation project. This role will lead and coordinate cross-functional state and vendor teams through multi-release implementations, serve as a mentor to project managers, and ensure the delivery of technical components including data conversion, infrastructure, and integration.
Candidates must have a strong background in ERP and CRM systems, as well as experience in COTS product implementation, cloud integration, and Agile transformation coaching.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead full lifecycle delivery of enterprise software projects, ensuring scope, timeline, and budget compliance.
- Manage a team of internal PMs supporting technical implementation areas such as:
- Data conversion and cleansing
- Legacy system retirement
- DevSecOps, infrastructure, and security
- System integration with external platforms
- Promote Agile best practices and coach teams to improve Agile maturity.
- Facilitate all Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Reviews, Retrospectives).
- Coordinate third-party vendor engagements and manage deliverables, SLAs, and issue resolution.
- Maintain project tracking in Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar systems.
- Collaborate with engineering, security, and operations teams on cloud and on-prem integrations.
- Drive compliance with NIST/FedRAMP and internal security policies.
- Develop and manage risk mitigation plans and project documentation (RACI, Charters, Schedules, Post-Mortems).
- Support change management efforts, stakeholder communications, and user readiness activities.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of project management experience; 3+ years in Agile/Scrum environments
- Scrum Master Certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent) Required
- Proven experience leading large enterprise software implementations
- Experience managing COTS product go-lives and multiple full-cycle releases
- Strong leadership with experience mentoring/leading project managers
- Proficiency in Azure DevOps, Jira, or equivalent tools
- Experience with technical project delivery (infrastructure, DevSecOps, security, integrations)
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- SAFe Certification or PMP Certification
- Experience in government or highly regulated sectors
- Knowledge of NIST, FedRAMP, and other regulatory frameworks
- Prior experience working with large consulting firms
- Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business, or related field
