Job Title: Cryptography Engineer
Location: Onsite 3 days a week in Charlotte, NC / Chandler, AZ / Plano, TX
Job Type: Contract W2

A cryptographic engineer is a specialized professional who designs, implements, and maintains systems that use cryptography to secure data and communications. Their work is critical for protecting sensitive information in areas like finance, cybersecurity, cloud services, and government systems.
Strong understanding of cryptographic principles and key management best practices.
Experience working knowledge of Thales HSM or Cipher Trust Manager.
Experience with key management systems such as AWS KMS, Azure Key Vault, or Google Cloud KMS.
Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Go) and experience with automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform).
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively with other functional areas and understand the operational and cultural issues relevant to achieving superior results.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
