Job Details

Essential Functions:

  • Monitor construction schedules, cost estimates, and monthly construction progress reports.
  • Contribute in developing technical solutions to constructability or construction issues.
  • Attend periodic progress meetings.
  • Prepare daily field reports summarizing progress of construction and measuring payment quantities.
  • Prepare test reports, including accident reports, etc.
  • Communicate with team members on ongoing construction related issues.
  • Compare approved shop drawings with materials being delivered and installed as part of the work.
  • Review Contractor proposed modifications with team members.
  • Help resolve construction related conflicts.
  • Review work is being performed in compliance with the contract documents.
  • Issue deficiency reports for any defective work.
  • Perform walkthrough inspections and prepare punch list for any remaining work.

Education/Experience Minimum:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience is required.
  • Minimum of one of the relevant credentials listed as follows:
  • Licensed Professional Engineer
  • Master Electricians License
  • NICET Level 3 Certification is desired but not required
  • International Code Council (ICC) Certification is desired but not required.
  • Electrical Inspector shall be on state Fire Marshall list as an approved non-governmental

Electrical Inspector.

  • Preferred experience: airport terminal buildings, airport terminal facilities and systems; structures, roadways, and bridges; parking facilities; airfield pavements, ramps, taxiways and runways, navigational aids, utilities, and cargo facilities at a medium and/or large air carrier airport.
