Job Description:
- Software Engineer needed to participate in the development of new radar software and in the sustainment of existing radar software.
- The candidate will work within a small team of engineers on software development and software maintenance of OTH Radar systems and similar associated systems.
- This person will develop and maintain code for real-time and off-line applications.
- They will implement and test software modifications and algorithms using C++ and MATLAB.
- Software will be professionally packaged, tested, documented, and delivered for use by others.
Required Skills:
- Expert in MATLAB and C++
- Experience using DDS open architecture development (RTI implementation preferred)
- Experience with standard signal processing techniques (Fourier transforms, filters, etc.)
- Prior experience with radar tracking and/or radar signal processing
- The candidate should be well versed in all aspects of software development including: management, documentation, coding standards, configuration control and software testing
- Good programming practice and testing
