Title: Structured Cabling Network Engineer

Overview:
The selected candidate will work with vendors to develop and implement solutions, develop policies and guidelines, troubleshoot major/minor network failures, analyze network capacity, manage vendor relationships, support agreements, and validate network billing related to all aspects of the network based on Network and Telecommunications standards and best practices.
The selected candidate will work with vendors to develop and implement solutions, develop policies and guidelines, troubleshoot major/minor network failures, analyze network capacity, manage vendor relationships, support agreements, and validate network billing related to all aspects of the network based on Network and Telecommunications standards and best practices.
Skills:
Experience in data and telecommunications to include installing, testing and inspecting deployed communications systems.
Experience in Installation, maintain and support of critical, multi-site networks.
Knowledge of wire-line and wireless, including fiber optics, T1, DS-3, MPLS, cellular technologies, CDMA, TDMA, VoIP, 5G, TCP/IP, UDP,ICMP,IP Networks.
Experience testing copper and fiber.
Experience in data and telecommunications to include installing, testing and inspecting deployed communications systems.

Working knowledge of networking tools, such as; Fluke Versiv with light meter, netAlly AirCheck G3, netAlly nXG, iperf3, nmap, wireshark, traceroute.
Intermediate skills in using Microsoft Office products, Outlook, Word, Excel and Visio.
