Lead Cyber Security Engineer

• 5 or more years of cybersecurity experience in systems administration and threat mitigation.
• Proficiency in Sumo Logic or similar SIEM platforms.
• Experience with Tenable.io or comparable vulnerability management tools.
• Experience in interpreting penetration test results and coordinating remediation efforts.
• Experience with managing cybersecurity tools within a hybrid IT environment.
• Experience in endpoint and password security protocols across enterprise setups.
• Strong communication skills to support internal users and assist the Help Desk team.

• Oversee and respond to security alerts, incidents, and monitoring reports.
• Lead vulnerability assessments and ensure timely patching or fixes.
• Coordinate and execute organization-wide security training programs.
• Manage cybersecurity tools and ensure alignment with NIST or similar frameworks.
• Develop scripts for automation in system security processes.
• Support incident response procedures and maintain documentation.
• Assist Help Desk operations approximately 25 30% of the time.
