Akkodis is seeking a Senior Java Developer for a Contract with a client in Englewood, CO. You will lead the design and development of scalable applications using Spring Boot and Kubernetes, while mentoring junior engineers and supporting software releases.
Rate Range: $41/hour to $45/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Senior Java Developer job responsibilities include:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Kubernetes.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers throughout the development lifecycle.
- Conduct code reviews, develop test plans, and ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver robust solutions.
- Monitor software releases and troubleshoot production issues to ensure system stability.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including design diagrams, test results, and support strategies.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree or relevant certifications preferred).
- Minimum 6-8 years of hands-on experience in Java development, including Spring Boot and Kubernetes.
- Proven ability to lead development teams and mentor junior engineers in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong proficiency in both Java and Python, with experience in designing and deploying scalable applications.
