Part-Time Consultant Manager (W2)

Title: Part-Time Consultant Manager (Only W2)

Location: Remote

We are seeking a motivated and organized Part-Time Consultant Manager to oversee and support our OPT/CPT (Optional Practical Training / Curricular Practical Training) candidates specializing in Mechanical, Manufacturing, and Electrical Engineering. The ideal candidate will serve as a mentor and coordinator, helping these consultants secure placements, manage compliance requirements, and ensure successful integration into project assignments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Talent Management:
• Maintain relationships with a bench of OPT/CPT engineering consultants.
• Onboarding & Compliance:
• Ensure all legal documentation, including work authorization (I-20, EAD), is properly collected and tracked.
• Monitor consultants training and placement statuses to ensure USCIS compliance. complete i983 form
• Reporting & Communication:
• Provide regular updates to leadership on bi weekly status calls, training needs
• Document bi weekly calls with minutes or recording
• Yearly appraisal
• Training Support:
• Assist in identifying technical training needs and connecting consultants with training resources (CAD, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.).

Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Engineering,
• Experience working with international students or managing OPT/CPT candidates preferred.
• Strong understanding of engineering domains (Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organized and proactive, with the ability to multitask.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of immigration and OPT/CPT compliance requirements.
• Exposure to engineering software and tools is a plus.
