Description

We are looking for a dedicated Help Desk Analyst to join our team in Princeton, New Jersey. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for resolving technical issues and providing exceptional support to users. This position offers the opportunity to grow your IT skills while working in a collaborative and focused environment.

Responsibilities:
Diagnose and resolve basic hardware, software, printer, mobile device, and network connectivity issues.
Assist users with account setup, password resets, and access management tasks, including Active Directory and Office 365.
Escalate more complex technical problems to Tier 2/3 support teams and ensure proper follow-up.
Record detailed information about support requests, troubleshooting steps, and solutions in the ticketing system.
Deliver high-quality customer service and maintain professionalism in interactions with users.
Utilize remote support tools to assist users effectively.
Stay informed on updates to system processes and applications to provide accurate guidance.
Collaborate with team members to improve help desk workflows and efficiency.

Requirements

At least 1 year of experience in IT support or a related customer service role; internships or academic experience are welcome.
Foundational knowledge of Windows and/or Mac operating systems, Office 365, and common business applications.
Familiarity with ticketing systems and remote support tools is preferred.
Strong communication skills and the ability to address technical issues clearly and effectively.
Excellent problem-solving capabilities with a proactive approach to troubleshooting.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
Basic understanding of Active Directory and service desk operations.
Commitment to continuous learning and attention to detail in growth.
