Job Details

Title: Capitalization Operations Analyst LOA: 6+ month contract (possible extension or conversion) Location: 100% Remote (EST preferred) Start: July 2025

Preferred Domain knowledge:
Demonstrate technical accounting experience
Understanding of internal control frameworks (SOX), Experience with Saas Internal-use Software (IUS) Accounting standards (i.e.ASC 350-40)
Industry experience with Saas software development practices (SDLC)
Hands-on knowledge of Atlassian product suite: Jira, Confluence Google Suite: Sheets, Slides, Docs, etc.
Analytics: Tableau
Collaboration tools: Slack, Zoom
Primary stakeholders:
P&T (Product & Tech) Business Operations Team
P&T Product Management (PM) Team
P&T Engineering Leads (EM) Team
P&T Analytics Team
Accounting Team
FP&A Team
Cross-functional leaders
Primary Duties:
Evaluate P&T work product (via reporting) for completeness of required data
Analyze work product for capitalization qualifying-criteria Engage with the PM and EM team to discuss missing data, validate data, and associated activities with capturing the proper capitalizable work.
Act as a SME on Capitalization qualification per SOX guidelines.

Evaluate tableau reports to find gaps, and engage with appropriate stakeholders to address data or process gaps.
Identify opportunities for improvement in process and reporting
Help organize quarterly project plan and lead its execution
