TEKsystems is hiring a Sr. Business Analyst in Boise, ID for a long term ERP implementation project for our client.
This is an on-site role in Boise, ID. Candidates must be local to the Boise area.
Candidates must be eligible to work in the US for any employer without the need for sponsorship. Not eligible for C2C sponsorhship.
This is a long term 12+month W2 contract with TEKsystems.
Description
Our client is going through the early stages of requirements gathering for the selection of a new ERP system that will that will be utilized across the 13 different divisions. They are looking for a senior business analyst that will lead this part of the effort to understand the requirements of the users. They will be developing the requirements pre-RFP so pre-implementation experience is a must. The analyst should have experience with enterprise environments, ERP implementations, business savviness, and the ability to communicate at all levels.

Requirements:
Needs to be local and in person
Review Soft Resources content & business requirements - associate with finance, HR, and/or other departments
Work with department Stakeholders to identify gaps and/or updates to understand and associate requirements to core functions of finance and HR or other departments
Focus on what are the desired outcomes vs. Trying to replicate what we do today.
Identify must haves, vs. nice to haves.
Participate in creating a good RFP, participate in evaluation, scoring, and selection process representing business requirements across departments, helping to script demonstrations and/or provide a controlled framework for vendors to respond to department requirements.
Work with Systems Analysts to identify technical and integration requirements
Leverage standard templates where appropriate - team can guide this BA where process or approach support is needed
Identify cultural resistance areas (when engaging various stakeholders) to provide back to Core Team + Change Manager
Help identify where there may be policies that need to consider changing to simplify (Payroll, specialty rules, pay codes)
Can we create affinity groups for the BA to engage groups of stakeholders. People to identify & land mines to avoid.
SIPOC facilitation and process mapping skills resulting in documented SIPOC's and Process Flow Diagrams
Translate knowledge to Systems Analysts as they onboard
Ability to create Test Plans and facilitate users/stakeholders to create their test scenarios/cases and manage pass/fail criteria management across stakeholder teams
Skills & Abilities:
Business and technical requirements documentation
Experience facilitating and documenting SIPOC
Experience with large scale enterprise-wide system projects that introduce significant change to an organization
Experience with Government RFP process
ERP project pre-implementation experience/knowledge
Partner with BRM/s with business departments
Sensitivity to Change - awareness and picks up on key indicators where there may be resistance to change
Calming demeanor, ability to draw out information from stakeholders in a relatable manner
Collaborative partner - listens well and can track complex processes from end to end
Facilitating Test Plans and coordinating test case creation with stakeholders
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Government experience would be a plus. The initial effort will be focused primarily on the HR and FI models. The analyst should be able to create systematic and consistent requirements specifications in both technical and user-friendly language. They should be to apply statistical and other research methods to systems, issues and products as required.

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.
