RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Portfolio Manager in Greenwood Village, CO.

Summary:
The Portfolio Manager will oversee the full portfolio of technology initiatives, ensuring all projects are aligned with business objectives and delivered successfully. This role requires someone who can understand the -why- behind each effort, proactively identify risks, and escalate issues when needed. The ideal candidate brings a strong technical foundation, a disciplined delivery mindset, and the ability to communicate complex details clearly to stakeholders at all levels.

Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the end-to-end delivery of all projects within the assigned portfolio, ensuring scope, timelines, and quality objectives are met
* Portfolio Manager will evaluate project proposals and business cases to understand value, dependencies, and strategic fit
* Partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders-including Engineering, Product, Architecture, and Operations-to ensure smooth execution and resolve blockers
* Conduct ongoing assessment of risks, issues, and delivery gaps; Escalate as appropriate to drive timely resolution
* Provide clear communication and reporting on portfolio status, milestones, impacts, and progress to leadership
* Facilitate prioritization discussions, ensuring teams understand the -why- behind decisions and project direction
* Dive into technical details when necessary to fully understand project constraints, architecture, and solution approaches
* As a Portfolio Manager, you will promote delivery best practices, continuous improvement, and alignment to SDLC, Agile, and governance standards
* Ensure project documentation, timelines, and details are accurate, thorough, and easily understood by both technical and non-technical partners

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field
* PMP certification and experience applying structured project/portfolio management practices
* Strong Agile/Scrum experience; Ability to work effectively with Scrum teams and product organizations
* Technical background (e.g., former developer, engineer, or hands-on technical analyst) with the ability to dig deeply into project details when needed
* Exceptional attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to translate complex information into clear, concise messaging
* Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and navigate competing priorities
* Strong communication, stakeholder management, and escalation skills

Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience managing technology portfolios in enterprise environments
* Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and other delivery or governance tools
* Ability to influence without authority and drive alignment across dispersed teams

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
