Job Details

We are seeking an experienced IBM Datacap Developer to design, develop, configure, and support enterprise document capture and automation solutions. The Developer will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing document capture and data extraction solutions using IBM Datacap, AWS Textract.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and configure IBM Datacap applications for intelligent document capture, classification, and data extraction.

  • Customize Datacap tasks, rulesets, and workflows to meet business requirements.

  • Integrate Datacap with IBM FileNet, Content Manager, and other enterprise content management (ECM) systems.

  • Perform solution testing, debugging, and performance tuning to ensure optimal system functionality.

  • Provide technical documentation, deployment support, and user training.

  • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

  • Support production systems by troubleshooting issues, applying fixes, and optimizing workflows.

  • Stay updated with new features in IBM Datacap and recommend process improvements.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

  • 3 5+ years of hands-on experience in IBM Datacap design and development.

  • The ideal candidate should have a strong background in software development, document capture technologies, IBM Datacap customization, AWS Textract.

  • Experience integrating Datacap with IBM FileNet P8, IBM Case Manager, or other ECM tools.

  • Proficiency in scripting (VBScript, JavaScript, or .NET) for workflow customization.

  • Strong understanding of document capture, OCR/ICR, and image processing technologies.

  • Familiarity with databases (SQL/DB2) and web services integration.

  • Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.

  • IBM Datacap certification (preferred).
