Job Details
The Tester will be responsible for validating application functionality, identifying defects, and ensuring the overall quality of deliverables. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Location: Florida (preferred) or nearby states
Employment Type: Apexon W2 Full-Time or Hourly
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, document, and execute detailed test cases based on project requirements.
- Identify, document, and track defects throughout the testing lifecycle.
- Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and product owners to ensure thorough understanding of requirements.
- Conduct regression testing to confirm new code changes do not impact existing functionality.
- Maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test results.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the QA process.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 35 years of hands-on experience in software testing.
- Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
- Strong experience in writing and executing test cases and test scripts.
- Proficiency in defect tracking tools and test management systems.
- Ability to analyze functional requirements and convert them into effective test scenarios.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with regression and functional testing.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum practices.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Exposure to automation tools (optional).
- Experience with APIs or database testing.
- State or government project experience.
