Description
We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Analyst to join our team in Providence, Rhode Island. As part of this contract position, you will play a key role in providing exceptional technical support, ensuring smooth operations, and delivering excellent customer service. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong technical foundation and a passion for problem-solving.
Responsibilities:
Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to Windows 10/11, Office, and OneDrive applications.
Provide Level 1-2 support for user administration in Microsoft 365, computer imaging, basic networking, and printer configurations.
Offer hands-on troubleshooting for hardware and software problems across Apple and Dell devices.
Utilize technical expertise to address issues with Cisco, Citrix, and backup technologies.
Maintain accurate documentation of tickets, problems, and changes in alignment with organizational standards.
Collaborate with team members to ensure quality assurance and adherence to testing and technical standards.
Prioritize tasks effectively to address urgent issues and move problems toward resolution swiftly.
Assist with configuration management and asset tracking to optimize operational efficiency.
Deliver excellent customer service while communicating technical solutions clearly to users.
Support legal applications, including NetDocuments, with training provided as needed.
Requirements
At least 1 year of experience in a desktop support or similar technical role.
Strong technical knowledge of Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office, and OneDrive.
Familiarity with user administration in Microsoft 365, imaging computers, networking basics, and printer setup.
Experience with Apple and Dell devices, as well as configuration and backup technologies.
Certifications such as A+, Network+, or Security+ are preferred but not mandatory.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer-focused mindset.
Ability to prioritize tasks and resolve issues with urgency and efficiency.
Knowledge of quality assurance and standards in IT environments.
