Act as the primary SME for the Duck Creek Billing system across implementation, support, and enhancement initiatives. Lead configuration and development of core billing functionalities, including invoicing, payments, collections, refunds, write-offs, commissions, and disbursements. Collaborate with business analysts, development, QA, and stakeholder teams to define, design, and deliver scalable technical solutions. Analyze existing billing processes and recommend system improvements aligned with Duck Creek capabilities. Troubleshoot complex issues and provide long-term support and maintenance of the billing platform. Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation, design specifications, and support materials. Guide internal teams and provide knowledge transfer on Duck Creek Billing features and best practices. Required Skills and Experience: Minimum 9 years of experience in the insurance industry, with hands-on expertise in Duck Creek Billing. Strong understanding of Duck Creek configuration, architecture, and integration. Experience with Duck Creek Author, Transact, and DataHub/Insights is an advantage. Proven knowledge of premium billing, agency billing, payment plans, commissions, and other key billing functions. Experience integrating Duck Creek Billing with policy, claims, finance, and third-party systems. Familiarity with cloud-based deployments, particularly Duck Creek OnDemand. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Duck Creek Billing certifications preferred. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in Agile delivery environments. Exposure to DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines. Educational Background: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
