Description
Product Data Manager Requirements Enterprise level experience within retail Very extensive product management experience (5+) this is a high priority and complex project within Sam's Club marketing, a program manager/ recent product manager will not suffice. Candidate needs experience with data related processes Migration data from one systems to the other Working with an expansive data lake Creating Dashboards and consumable measurements from social paid media data as well as CRM Email marketing experience is a plus This person doesn't need to be heavy retail, or heavy data background, but the person should understand how data is used for reporting, personalization or sending emails for example. The person should also understand fundamentals of KYC (know your customer) / customer segmentation - for example, how to define and segment your customers and then prioritize your features for them first. So for example, if you're building a product which caters to only membership renewal, but not adding new customers to the product, so the focus would be existing customers. At the core, they really need people who understand how to define user problems, create metrics, break an idea down, and work with the necessary teams/team members to execute. This Product Manager will be in the weeds executing with the engineering teams - they'll be breaking down requirements into user stories, prioritizing a backlog, managing a roadmap, etc. BUT, the expectation is that these Product Managers have the sensibility to keep the big picture or "North Star" in mind. They also want people who ideate and collaborate and don't just take orders - this is a highly collaborative team that is always looking to find ways to better service the customer, as long as there's data to back it up. Project Details Marketing Data-Mart/ Cost Data Mart Sam's Club marketing is spending X millions of dollars in marketing on different websites like paid media, emails and CRM the overall goal is to measure the ROI on those media dollars spent. This person will be responsible for bring all of the impression/ conversion data that is created back into the CDP and then build a dashboard on top of it. it requires a lot of data ingestion, giving requirements based on this data and working closely with the marketing team to determine exactly how the dashboard will need to look and make a marketing plan based on these insights
