Job Title: Project Manager (Data Center & OT)

Location: Jaffrey, NH (Mostly Remote with occasional visits)

Position Type: Contract (Long-Term)



Role Overview



Lead and execute complex Data Center and OT infrastructure projects-covering IT and operational technology systems-on schedule and within budget. Ensure alignment with strategic objectives and compliance.



Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end planning and execution of IT/OT infrastructure projects, including data center upgrades, server room installations, and automation system deployments.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with IT, Facilities, Engineering, and Automation teams to ensure smooth project execution in regulated environments.
  • Develop, track, and manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation to meet business objectives.
  • Drive vendor coordination and performance, ensuring timely delivery of equipment, services, and milestones.
  • Maintain project documentation, status reports, and risk registers to ensure visibility for stakeholders and executives.
  • Ensure all deliverables align with cGMP, GAMP, and FDA 21 CFR Part 11 standards, where applicable.
  • Support system validation efforts, including IQ/OQ/PQ, and ensure data integrity practices in IT/OT environments.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and performance improvement.
  • Manage change control, issue resolution, and escalation processes throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Oversee compliance, cybersecurity alignment, and infrastructure reliability across both IT and OT systems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial Technology, or related field
  • 5+ years managing complex Data Center or OT projects in heavily regulated environments (pharma, life sciences, manufacturing)
  • PMP (or equivalent) preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Data Center infrastructure (power, cooling, servers, networking) and OT systems (MES, automation, instrumentation)
  • Excellent cross-functional communication, vendor management, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience with project tools (MS Project, Smartsheet, JIRA) and adherence to quality frameworks (cGMP, GAMP, FDA 21 CFR)
