Job Details
Manual Testing:
Perform comprehensive manual testing, including functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing, across various platforms and devices.
Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on product requirements and user stories.
Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies using our bug tracking system, working closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback to improve product quality and testability.
Automation Testing (Java):
Develop, maintain, and enhance robust and scalable automated test scripts and frameworks using Java.
Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline.
Analyze test results, identify root causes of failures, and report on automation coverage and progress.
Collaborate with developers to establish and enforce best practices for code quality, testing standards, and automation strategies.
Collaboration & Communication:
Work closely with product managers, developers, and other QA team members throughout the software development lifecycle.
Actively participate in agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
Provide clear and concise test reports and status updates to stakeholders.
Champion quality throughout the development process.
Preferred:
Experience with automation testing frameworks such as Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, or Cypress (specifically with Java bindings).
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
Knowledge of API testing (e.g., Postman, Rest Assured).
Experience with performance or security testing.
