RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Jr. Agile Product Owner in Houston, TX.

Summary:
We are seeking motivated and experienced Agile Product Owners to join our newly formed digital products department, currently undergoing an Agile transformation to Scrum. You will play a key role in driving the success of digital products by collaborating closely with stakeholders, development teams, and leadership. Key Responsibilities:
* Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and development teams to ensure clear understanding of product vision and goals
* Define, write, and prioritize product backlog items including user stories and acceptance criteria
* Apply Agile best practices and frameworks, primarily Scrum, to deliver value iteratively
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on priorities, scope, and delivery timelines
* Utilize prioritization frameworks and a custom value assurance framework to drive decision-making
* Support Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
* Document and communicate requirements using tools such as Confluence, Jira, and Azure DevOps
* Provide mentorship and guidance to junior product analysts and team members
* Leverage deep website domain knowledge and familiarity with Customer Data Platforms (CDP), especially Treasure Data
* Help the organization transition smoothly into Agile ways of working during ongoing transformation efforts

REQUIREMENTS:
* Experience with prioritization frameworks and driving product decisions
* 1-3 years of Agile experience (Junior) or 3+ years with demonstrable leadership experience (Senior) in product ownership or product analysis roles
* Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, preferably Scrum
* Business-oriented mindset with excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
* Familiarity with Customer Data Platforms (CDP), especially Treasure Data, is a strong plus
* Proven ability to write clear and actionable user stories and acceptance criteria
* Comfortable using Confluence, Jira, and Azure DevOps for documentation and tracking
* Relevant certifications such as PSPO (Professional Scrum Product Owner) or Scrum Master preferred

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
