We are looking for a Lead Observability Engineer with 15+ years of experience in RUM, APM, performance monitoring, and enterprise-scale observability engineering. The ideal candidate will lead strategy, implementation, and optimization of observability frameworks across web, application, and infrastructure tiers to improve performance, reliability, and user experience.

We are looking for a Lead Observability Engineer with 15+ years of experience in RUM, APM, performance monitoring, and enterprise-scale observability engineering. The ideal candidate will lead strategy, implementation, and optimization of observability frameworks across web, application, and infrastructure tiers to improve performance, reliability, and user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end observability architecture and enterprise monitoring strategy.
- Drive RUM initiatives using Splunk, Datadog, New Relic, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Elastic RUM, or Boomerang.js.
- Implement and manage APM monitoring, distributed tracing, and alerting pipelines.
- Optimize performance across JavaScript, Angular, React, Java, jQuery, and Pega applications.
- Analyze & improve Core Web Vitals (TTFB, FCP, LCP, CLS, INP).
- Manage Synthetic Monitoring for proactive issue detection.
- Build dashboards in Grafana, Kibana, or Splunk for actionable insights.
- Lead incident response, RCA, performance analysis, and best-practice governance.
- Deep hands-on experience with RUM/APM tools (Splunk, Datadog, New Relic, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript, browser APIs, and web performance optimization.
- Experience with Angular, React, Java, jQuery, or Pega performance debugging.
- Expertise in distributed tracing, telemetry pipelines, and logging frameworks.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and leadership skills.
- Dashboarding experience (Grafana, Kibana, Splunk).
