Front End Developer – Deck.GL / Web App Mapping

Requirements:
  • Our team develops custom maps using a tool called CARTO
  • Seeking experience with a JavaScript framework called Deck.GL that is customizable and efficient
  • The goal is to move our production resources away onto a custom Deck.GL application
  • The product is in staging at the moment but to get into production we need this resource to develop the customized version of the app in Deck.GL
  • Key deliverables include fully working Deck.gl supported application showcasing data shapefiles and/or other geospatial formats
  • Develop and maintain full-stack applications using deck.gl for data visualization
Description:
  • Codes software applications to adhere to designs supporting internal business requirements or external customers
  • Standardizes the quality assurance procedure for software
  • Oversees testing and develops fixes
  • Work on progressive redesign and maintenance projects that have an immediate impact on how our customers experience our brand every day
  • Develop new user-facing features
  • Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
  • Participating in code review
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade software.
  • Ensure responsiveness and efficiency of applications
  • Write technical documentation
