Title D365 Data Migration Specialist

Data Migration Specialist
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute data migration activities for Dynamics 365 F&O implementations.
- Design data migration strategy, including data mapping, transformation, validation, and loading.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, analyze legacy AX2012 system and identify relevant data for migration to D365 F&O.
- Develop and maintain data migration templates and scripts using tools such as Data Management Framework (DMF), SQL, and Excel.
- Collaborate with functional and technical teams to ensure accurate and complete data migration.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and perform data cleansing and normalization in preparation for import into Dynamics 365 F&O.
- Execute test migrations and validate data accuracy with business users.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data migration issues and discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies throughout migration processes.
- Provide post-migration support and assist with cutover planning and execution.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with Dynamics 365 F&O (Finance and Operations) data migration projects.
- In-depth knowledge of the Data Management Framework (DMF) and data entities in D365.
- Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server, Excel, and Power Query.
- Experience working with LCS (Lifecycle Services) and Azure DevOps.
- Familiarity with Dynamics AX2012 system and data structures.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to document processes and provide training to end-users as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in full lifecycle D365 implementations with hands-on expertise as data migration specialist.
- Knowledge of financial, supply chain, and/or manufacturing data domains.
