Job Description: Oracle Fusion Financial Solutions Architect

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle Functional Fusion Financial Solutions Architect to lead the functional design and implementation of Oracle Fusion Financial applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in financial systems and business processes, with a focus on Oracle Fusion Cloud solutions. This role bridges business and technology, ensuring that the financial systems meet organizational goals and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Work closely with finance and accounting teams to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for Oracle Fusion Financial applications.

Lead the functional design and configuration of Oracle Fusion Financial modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), and Cash Management.

Serve as the functional expert for Oracle Fusion Financials, providing guidance on best practices and solution design.

Design and document business processes, workflows, and system configurations.

Conduct fit-gap analysis to identify opportunities for process improvements or additional configurations.

Collaborate with technical teams to ensure successful implementation, integrations, and data migrations.

Provide leadership in solution testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and deployment activities.

Deliver end-user training, support, and documentation to ensure a smooth transition to Oracle Fusion Financials.

Monitor and address post-go-live issues, providing ongoing system support and enhancements.

Stay updated on Oracle Fusion Cloud updates, new features, and industry trends to recommend improvements.

Qualifications:

Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

10+ years of experience in Oracle Financials, with at least 5 years in Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials.

Deep functional knowledge of Oracle Fusion Financial modules and their integration with other Oracle Cloud applications.

Strong understanding of financial processes, accounting principles, and compliance requirements.

Proven experience in implementing Oracle Fusion Financial solutions, including requirements gathering, configuration, testing, and deployment.

Hands-on experience with reporting tools such as OTBI, FRS, and BI Publisher.

Ability to lead workshops, create functional designs, and provide solution recommendations.

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Oracle certification in Fusion Financials is an advantage.
