Position Details
- Contract-to-hire (3-6 months) or direct hire for exceptional candidates
- Location: Denton, TX 76203
What You Will Be Doing
- Lead cloud data engineering initiatives using the Microsoft Fabric data platform
- Design and optimize data models and analytics solutions
- Develop scripts with Python, PySpark, R, and PowerShell
- Create compelling data visualizations (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
- Integrate AI/ML (Azure AI, Chatbots) to enhance insights
- Mentor junior engineers and collaborate cross-functionally
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree (mandatory), and minimum 7 years professional experience in data engineering, analytics, data management, or closely related field
- Proven expertise with Microsoft Fabric data platform (must-have)
- Advanced scripting skills: Python, PySpark, R, PowerShell
- Outstanding communication and analytical skill
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future need for sponsorship
- Ability to pass a fingerprint-based background check upon hire
Preferred Qualifications
- Master s degree in Computer Science or related field
- Experience with Agile methodologies
- Skill in mentoring and developing junior talent
- Expertise in data visualization and AI/ML integration
- Demonstrated leadership in complex data projects
