Role - M&A Integration Project Lead

Location - NYC/ Hybrid

Duration - 6+ Months

This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. An ideal candidate is a critical thinker, an effective communicator, and an adaptable problem solver who thrives in dynamic, high-growth settings
Minimum of 2+ years of PMO experience in M&A integration, corporate development, or a related role
Strong project management skills with a track record of leading complex integrations
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across internal and external teams
Ability to work across time zones and diverse cultures
Proficiency in Excel and experience conducting sophisticated data analysis
Prior experience managing large-scale transformational projects and facilitating change at senior levels
Industry Knowledge: Experience in the financial services or insurance industry is preferred, Big 5 experience preferred
Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Experience in designing and implementing workflows and standard operating procedures to enhance operational efficiency
Responsibilities -

This role will work cross-functionally with executives, functional leaders, and acquired company teams to drive efficient and effective integration, maximize synergies, and support strategic growth
The individual will oversee integration initiatives, ensuring they are prioritized and executed within established timelines, milestones, and resource allocations
Additionally, this individual will oversee the Integration Project Management Office (PMO) and they will make sure to enforce strong standards and SOPs
Participate in relevant due diligence activities to develop insights and inform integration tactics
Execute against the Integration Management Office framework and governance and facilitate executive team integration planning sessions to align on integration
Develop integration timelines and program-level milestone plans within a structured framework
Lead Day 1 communication, planning and implementation with appropriate change management strategies
Identify and manage risks, issues, and contingency strategies for integration plans
Facilitate steering committee awareness of critical status updates, risks, issues, and decisions to ensure successful integration
Manage deal synergies (revenue and cost)
Develop synergy execution plans with relevant stakeholders and assign ownership for synergy realization and ensure accountability.
