Quality Assurance Associate Lead
Location: Washington, DC

Description
Gridiron IT is looking to hire a Quality Assurance Associate Lead to support a government program on a remote basis.
  • 4 - 6 years experience in a test lead capacity;
  • 2 years hands-on experience with the Salesforce platform
  • Hands-on experience with testing tools (i.e. ACCELQ, HP Unified Functional Testing, etc.)
  • Knowledge of XML, JAVA and SOAP or related languages
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to perform independently
  • Knowledge of Service-Oriented Architecture and Scrum methodologies highly desired
  • Development background is a plus

Responsibilities:
  • Participate in efforts to analyze, specify, and design testing for components in Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).
  • Assist in developing the Performance Testing Strategy, Performance Testing Plans, and Scripts.
  • Conducts manual and automated testing to make sure all the major functionalities are functioning as per requirement
  • Create both positive and negative test scenarios.
  • Perform compatibility test in case Salesforce integrated with third-party applications, and internal and external integrated systems.
  • Familiar with load testing tools like JMeter to validate the complex flows which can offer inconsistent results in Salesforce.
  • Utilizes Automated testing tools like ACCELQ, HP Unified Functional Testing (UFT), Cucumber, Force.com IDE (Eclipse-based),
  • Change Sets (Cloud Deploy), Ant/force.com migration tool, Workday, etc.
  • Execute Functional/Performance Tests using industry standard tools such as QTP, Loadrunner or similar tools Analyze results
  • and provide recommendations for improvements.
  • Establish and maintain an easy communication channel with the technical team.
  • Knowledge of Apex.

Compensation and Benefits
Rate: 70-75 (Compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, work experience, skills, education, certifications, seniority, and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.)
