Mid Level Data Scientist / FinTech

Job Description Are you looking to power data-driven insights to make a tangible impact on one of the largest financial service companies in the Midwest? As a Data Scientist, you will be working with an intimate team that is crucial in analyzing, supplying, and developing solutions to solve business problems both internally and client-facing by leveraging statistical analysis, pricing models, and forecasting, and other models.

Situated in Northern Chicago, you'll enjoy a hybrid schedule, allowing you to find a great balance between face-to-face collaboration of a tight-knit team and comfort of working from home while working with cross-functional teams across the country, allowing you to grow and refine your skillset across multiple domains. Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree with 3+ years of professional experience; Master's Degree with 2+ years of experience
• Professional experience in a financial role or adjacent role
• Professional experience with forecasting models, decision models, and financial models
• Hands-on technical proficiency in Python and SQL
• Data validation and documentation in a professional setting
• Strong communication and listening skills a must

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience with deployment to major cloud environments, preferably Microsoft Azure a plus
• Previous work with cross-functional teams a plus
