Title: SAP ECC/Manufacturing Functional Consultant-
Location: Wilson, NC,
Duration: Long-term

75% travel to be onsite with the client in Wilson, NC. May eventually decrease to 50% travel (Paid by Client). Resource must be local, or at least in the eastern side of the US, close to NC.

*MUST have ECC Implementation experience, NOT S4/HANA client still runs on old software

Role and Responsibilities:
1. Discrete manufacturing using production orders planned order created by detailed scheduling (PPDS) converted into production order
2. Integration with batch management: batch determination and batch derivation
3. Integration with WM Warehouse Management: material staging and goods issue, good receipt in storage units
4. Integration with HU Handling Unit management: goods receipt of finished goods managed in HU, rework
5. Integration with QM Quality Management: inspection at good issue, goods receipt and during production
6. RF transactions for good issue, production confirmation, good receipt
7. Integration with local system to manage specific production order: outbound interface of production order, inbound interface of production confirmation
8. Integration with local system to manage finished goods production order: outbound interface of production order, inbound interface of good receipts with HU
Main activities: System design, build and test
1. Supporting the business process walkthrough session to explain the template to the local market, leading the process demonstration in the system sessions. Document all risk, issues, actions and decisions noted during the Fit/Change workshops and work with Template Team, Site and Project Teams to drive resolutions
2. Collecting information required from site/market for company, plant, sales org etc. configuration and either hand over to the SAP CC for global configuration or make the necessary changes in SAP in line with relevant global configuration documentation and/or update as necessary
3. Support the scoping and coordinating and participating in relevant integration testing
4. Providing advice and guidance for scoping of User Acceptance Testing, facilitating execution by providing support for the site team executing the testing and assist in defect resolution
5. Performing any documentation updates to CSV (Computer System Validation) standards e.g., Functional Requirement Specifications, Interface Requirement Specifications etc
Data migration
1. Working with Market or Site Team, explaining data objects in detail down to field level to facilitate data collection/cleansing/build exercise
2. Supporting data cleanse and construction work by ensuring functional impacts of data are well understood
3. Create and update data required for System Integration Test
Change management training
1. Delivering Super User Training proactively driving knowledge transfer of template processes / SAP transaction usage to local super users through course of deployment
2. Supporting guiding super users through business readiness activities for their process area including impacts of change etc
3. Supporting super users with role mapping training needs analysis
Hypercare support
1. Providing intensive care support Market or Site during Hypercare
2. Ensuring relevant knowledge transfer business as usual support organisation
