Job Title: QA Engineer Mobile App Testing
Location: Atlanta, GA (On-site or Remote)
Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QA Engineer with a strong background in mobile application testing to join our team supporting Floor & Decor. This role focuses on ensuring the quality and performance of mobile applications across both Android and iOS platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform manual and automated testing of mobile applications on both Android and iOS platforms.
Use tools like Android Studio, Android Emulator, and Apple TestFlight to conduct comprehensive testing.
Identify, document, and track bugs and issues using appropriate bug tracking tools.
Collaborate with developers, product owners, and designers to understand application requirements and ensure quality standards are met.
Design and execute test cases based on business and technical requirements.
Conduct regression testing and assist with release validation.
Provide feedback and recommendations for product improvements.
Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint planning meetings in an Agile environment.
Qualifications:
4+ years of experience in mobile app QA testing (Android & iOS).
Hands-on experience with Android Studio, Android Emulator, and TestFlight.
Strong understanding of mobile app development and deployment processes.
Familiarity with bug tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred)
Design, develop, and execute detailed test cases for mobile applications on Android and iOS platforms.
Perform manual testing and exploratory testing to uncover UI/UX issues, crashes, and performance bottlenecks.
Use Android Studio and Android Emulator for testing and debugging Android apps.
Manage and test builds using Apple TestFlight for iOS apps.
Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and designers to understand requirements and deliver high-quality releases.
Identify, document, and track defects and follow up until resolution.
Conduct regression testing, smoke testing, and sanity checks before each release.
Validate app compatibility across different screen sizes, OS versions, and device types.
Contribute to test plan documentation and quality metrics reporting.
