The Experience Strategy & Design Studio at Microsoft is seeking a Product Designer 4 to help envision and deliver end-to-end experiences that delight customers and drive business impact.

Responsibilities

As a Product Designer 4, you will:
  • Translate complex concepts into compelling narratives and visualizations that align stakeholders around NorthStar experience visions.
  • Design using established systems and patterns, including content templates, UI controls, navigation models, and visual design standards.
  • Deliver design artifacts across a range of fidelities-from low-fi sketches to high-fidelity prototypes.
  • Create and maintain design documentation such as storyboards, wireframes, journey maps, personas, task flows, and creative briefs.
  • Champion a customer-centric mindset by synthesizing insights from qualitative and quantitative research.
  • Facilitate and support remote and in-person workshops to drive alignment and ideation.
  • Present holistic solutions that span multiple touchpoints and organizational silos.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design intent is realized from concept through implementation.
  • Use digital and physical tools to communicate design intent and gather stakeholder and customer feedback.
? Qualifications
Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, HCI, or related field AND 8+ years of product/service design experience
  • OR Master's degree in a related field AND 6+ years of experience
  • OR Equivalent practical experience applying design thinking to solve complex problems
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, and/or Sketch
Preferred:
  • 5+ years of experience delivering end-to-end product or service design solutions to customers
  • Design Thinking certification from a recognized institution (e.g., IDEO, IBM, Stanford, Luna, Forrester)
  • 3+ years conducting 1:1 user research interviews
  • 5+ years facilitating live and virtual Design Thinking workshops
  • 3+ years of experience in the technology sector, especially with enterprise (B2B) customers
