Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer with extensive experience in software development and a strong focus on data analytics. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working with Google Cloud Platform Big Query and will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions that meet our business needs. This role requires a deep understanding of software development methodologies and a passion for delivering high quality software.
Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and implement software applications using best practices and coding standards.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Utilize Google Cloud Platform Big Query for data analysis and reporting, ensuring data integrity and performance optimization.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including planning, development, testing, and deployment.
- Identify and troubleshoot software defects and performance issues.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve software solutions.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
- 7 10 years of experience in software development.
- Proficiency in Google Cloud Platform Big Query and experience with data warehousing solutions.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or Go.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Solid understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.).
- Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with other Google Cloud Platform services (e.g., Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage).
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Experience with front end technologies (React, Angular, etc.) is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 7 10 years of relevant work experience in software development.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
