About the role:

As an Electrical Controls Engineer you will analyze and resolve electrical, instrumentation, controls and logic issues on production equipment.

You will report to the Engineering Manager and be located at Blairsville, PA. You will support this position 100% onsite.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Use methodologies to find the cause of different complex issues resulting in a more streamlined operation with increased machine run-time.
  • Manage electrical projects of varying scope. Support equipment reliability efforts through evaluation of component failures and system failure mechanisms.
  • Create or help create accurate drawings and reports to document a design.
  • Help create the conceptual designs, technical documentation, and budget estimates for bid and proposals.
  • Work in a versatile team environment and provide technical leadership on projects.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology is required.
  • 3+ years electrical experience is required.
  • Experience with AC and DC drives and motors, servo drives, instrumentation and controls.
  • Read, interpret and update electrical drawings.
  • PLC Equipment - Allen Bradley, limited GE Fanuc, and Honeywell PLCs
  • Familiarity with PLC ladder logic and hardware configuration.
  • Experience with .NET and Induction Automation (Ignition) programming
