Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop API specifications for RESTful APIs, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
- Create clear and comprehensive API documentation to support developers in integration and usage.
- Monitor API performance, diagnose issues, and implement optimizations for enhanced functionality.
- Implement security protocols, authentication, and authorization mechanisms to safeguard APIs from unauthorized access.
- Work with API development tools, API gateways, and API management platforms to streamline deployment and operations.
- 5+ years experience in full stack Java development
- Proficiency in Java and microservices frameworks such as Spring Boot.
- Strong understanding of API architectural styles (REST, GraphQL, SOAP).
- Familiarity with common data formats (JSON, XML, YAML).
- Experience with cloud platforms (preferred: Azure Cloud Platform).
- Experience with DevSecOps (preferred: Azure DevSecOps).
- Understanding of database technologies and messaging technologies.
- Bachelors degree in computer science, information systems, etc.
- Hands-on experience inAPI lifecycle management and API gateway implementation.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve API integration issues efficiently.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
- Experience working in the banking/financial services industry
