Job Details

Role: Senior Fabric Data Engineer

Location: Miami FL, Dallas TX

Term: Contract to Hire

Technology:

Azure Data Factory

1) Must have designed and implemented multiple complex pipelines with Dynamic Content within activities (maste pipelines with sub pipelines, batching, parameters, variables etc.)

2) Have experience with Microsoft Entra and Azure Key Vault secrets for accessing resources.

3) Have written pipelines that access REST APIs

Azure SQL DB

1) Have Senior/Expert knowledge of writing, testing, and enhancing complex Stored Procedures and Functions with experience in Performance Tuning

2) Have experience of generating and executing Dynamic SQL based on data in tables, or JSON.

3) Be familiar with converting JSON to tables, and tables to JSON

4) Have experience with database mirroring (ideally to Microsoft Fabric)

Azure Service Bus / Azure Event Hub

1) Have hands on experience working with Queueing technologies, ideally with writing Azure Function Apps to queue and dequeuer messages

Azure Function Apps

1) Have experience of full lifecycle development, testing, and deployment of Azure Function Apps (ideally C#).

Needs:

1) Excellent problem solving and fast learning skills

2) Senior level experience with ETL/ELT

3) Experience in working with all components within Microsoft Fabric

Nice To Have:

Knowledge of Financial Systems (Ideally Mortgage)

Be able to work on existing Spark Notebooks and enhance solutions in Spark Notebooks if need be

Power BI

Scripting Tools (ideally PowerShell)

Agile Experience, Ideally Jira
