Position: IP Address Management (IPAM) Specialist
Location: Woodlawn, MD
Description of Work

The selected candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the IP Address Management (IPAM) environment and driving innovative, advanced changes in line with enterprise objectives. Key Responsibilities
- Lead IPAM strategy and execution aligned with broader IT and network objectives.Design and implement new IPAM solutions based on customer and business needs.
- Drive automation and standardization, enabling rapid recovery during outages.
- Conduct regular reviews of customer environments, identifying enhancement opportunities through data analysis.
- Manage vendor relationships, ensuring high-quality service, issue resolution, and product improvements.
- Troubleshoot complex issues and lead development of long-term, preventive solutions.
- Collaborate with IT teams during critical incident response and recovery operations.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree + 5 years of experience, OR Master's Degree + 3 years, OR 9+ years of relevant work experience in lieu of degree.
- Minimum 3 years administering Infoblox IPAM.
- Minimum 3 years experience using Python scripting and Infoblox API for automation and data integration.
- At least 5 years experience in:
- System Administration (vCenter, Unix/Linux, Windows).
- SQL for database admin and manipulation.
- DNS and IP topology roles (engineering, admin, architecture).
- Networking protocols: DNS, DHCP, SNMP, TACACS, RADIUS.
- Working with IPv4 subnetting, VLANs, SNMP-based discovery.
- Using and troubleshooting network management/performance monitoring tools.
